The ASEAN-Korea Centre has launched a new mobile application in a bid to promote tourism to the Southeast Asian bloc’s member states among Korean travelers.

Simply titled “ASEAN Tour,” the application was developed based on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ Tourism Guide published last year by the Centre.

The application includes tourism information on each of the 10 member states and can be accessed using iPhone and Android phones.

“It is expected that the ASEAN Tourism Mobile Application, ASEAN Tour, will contribute in disseminating accurate information on the vast culture and tourism resources of ASEAN thereby further promoting ASEAN tourism among Korean tourists,” said the Centre’s Secretary General Cho Young-jai.

The application is available for download at the iTunes App Store and Android Marketplace for free.
