A charity auction to raise cash for abandoned animals will be held in a Busan bar Saturday. The night to raise funds for Busan Abandoned Pet Sanctuary is to be held at the Wolfhound bar, in Haeundae.

Bidding will start at 11 p.m. with prizes on offer including a steak dinner at Sharky’s restaurant, as well as meals at Ono in Haeundae. Burger & Pasta and Paris restaurants in Gwangan are also donating.

An apartment cleaning service is up for grabs as are two full-packages of dingy lessons donated by Busan Expat Sailing Club worth 250,000 won each.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce has also donated a Bosch Auto Drill worth 350,000 won.

Other prizes for the evening include a date and the chance to wax a man’s legs in public.

The auction is to follow a sporting event in the Hadan area of the city, which will also raise money for the animal shelter. A 5-a-side football tournament is to run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Myeongji on the same day.
