Rumors fly over Shinsegae heir marriage plans

Chung Yong-jin, 42, vice chairman of Shinsegae Group, may be ready to tie the knot -- again -- this time with flutist Han Ji-hee, according to inside sources.

Sources said that Han, 30, and Chung are making preparations for a wedding ceremony next month.

Chung’s fiancee teaches at Sungshin Women’s University and has studied in Austria, France and the U.S. Her father is the late Han Sang-beom, former vice president of Korean Air.

This would mark Chung’s second marriage, as he was previously married to actress Koh Hyun-jeong.

The couple split in 2003, eight years into the marriage, and have two teenage children together.

Chung will reportedly be living in the suburbs just outside of Seoul after marrying his current financee.

Shinsegae on Friday said Chung was going out with Han, but denied the marriage plans.

Rumors about Chung’s relationship with Han had been surfacing after the vice chairman participated in a solo concert with the flutist.

정용진 신세계부회장 재혼할 듯

    (서울=연합뉴스) 2003년 탤런트 고현정씨와 이혼했던 정용진(43) 신세계 부회장이 조만간 재혼할 것으로 알려졌다.

    상대는 그간 '열애설'이 돌았던 플루티스트 겸 대학강사 한지희(31)씨로 대한항공 부사장이었던 고(故) 한상범씨의 딸이다.

    신세계 측은 "두 사람이 좋은 관계를 유지하고 있고 결혼할 뜻이 있는 것으로 안다"며 "다만 정 부회장도 최근 일에 바쁘고 한씨도 박사과정 중이어서 적당한 날 을 잡지 못하고 있다"고 전했다.
