GENEVA (DPA) ― A stunner at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show is the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari ― a tiny super car in red, Scuderia-style stripes, lashings of mesh grille and unique Ferrari badging, and based on the Abarth 500.

Built in cooperation with Ferrari, the 1.4-liter turbo motor has an output of 180 horsepower compared to the 135 hp of the standard model with acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in less than seven seconds.

A revised suspension and chassis provides the body control of a racing car with accompanying sound provided by the “Record Monza” exhaust system. Shift paddles behind the steering are used for gear changing.

The interior comes with exclusive leathers with the aluminum pedals giving an extra racing flair. The red and black bucket seats are some 10 kilograms lighter than in the standard version.

Only 152 examples are being produced but apparently already sold out at a price tag of 35,700 euros ($48,400) with many Ferrari owners expected to be among them.
