Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has got a lucrative job offer from a prestigious film director.
According to Britain’s The Sun, Mexican-born director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who is in the spotlight for his Oscar-winner “Biutiful,” said the door to Hollywood is wide open to the footballer, adding that he is talented at acting.
“I said to him, ‘I will offer you a role once you are a little older and you are done with football.’ He will have a good Hollywood career, I’m sure,” Mr. Inarritu said, adding, “He’s from the streets and has a warrior appeal that could serve him well in movies.”
