A British restaurant promises a free meal to anyone who can finish a 4,200-calorie burger with side dishes under a time limit.
According to the British Daily Mail, Oscar’s Diner, an American-themed burger restaurant, in Telford, Shropshire, offers a prize to anyone who can finish their mammoth Titanic burger in the given time.
Weighing-in at 1.1 kilograms, the jumbo burger features 450 grams of beef patties, six pieces of bacon, two chicken breasts, two potato waffles, four onion rings, cheese and a piece of tomato.
Anyone who manages to eat the entire burger faces a second helping in the challenge -- a large milkshake, a dish of chips and a pot of salad. Diners must finish the lot within 45 minutes to qualify for the prize.
Those who manage to gulp everything down within the limited time will be given the chance to have their photograph hung on a wall of honor and be gifted with a commemorative extra-large T-shirt.
Including the burger, which alone features 4,200 calories and 102.9 grams of fat, the entire menu contains 6,685 calories and 165 grams of fat. Only 15 are said to have eaten their way to victory since Oscar’s Diner began its “Sink the Titanic” challenge two weeks ago.
