Kwangwoon University has joined the “Hana Social Venture University” program — the group’s flagship social initiative aimed at fostering local talent by developing region-specific business ideas in partnership with universities. Around 30 universities nationwide have joined the network, with 3,550 young participants receiving training so far. Of those, 326 teams have successfully launched and sustained their own businesses, generating a combined 20 billion won ($14 million) in revenue to date. (Hana Financial Group)
