Ingredients:

600 grams pork belly

1 stalk green onion

1/2 onion

A pinch of sesame seeds

Marinade Ingredients:

3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)

3 tablespoons cooking wine

1 tablespoon corn syrup

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon ginger powder

A pinch of black pepper

Green Onion Salad Seasoning Ingredients:

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon vinegar

1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

A pinch of salt

A pinch of sesame seeds

(serves 2 to 3)

Instructions:

Cut the pork belly into manageable pieces and marinate it in the sauce for about 20 minutes.

Slice the green onion and onion into thin strips, then soak them in cold water for about 10 minutes. Drain them well in a strainer.

Heat a pan with a little oil, add the marinated pork belly, and cook on both sides until browned. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces, reduce the heat to low, and cook through, flipping as needed.

In a bowl, toss the green onion and onion strips with the green onion salad seasoning until lightly coated.

Serve the grilled pork belly on a plate with the green onion salad and wrap it with lettuce leaves if desired.
