Thai worker in Korea tries to kill coworker

Gijang Police Station in Busan said Thursday that it plans to request an arrest warrant for a 32-year-old Thai worker on the charge of attempted murder.

The suspect is accused of brandishing a weapon with the intent to kill his coworker at an apartment located in Gijang, Busan around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

It appears the suspect wanted to take revenge on his coworker who beat him after a conflict, according to police.

Police said while the victim was taken to a hospital, he is unconscious due to excessive bleeding.
