A man who was released from prison in May committed another murder in Gwangju on Monday, Yonhap News Agency reported.

The 50-year-old man surnamed Jang recently visited a karaoke bar and quarreled with a customer. Jang later returned to the bar with a knife from his home and stabbed the customer to death.

Jang, who was drunk at the time, reportedly shouted that he would live in prison again.

In 2005, Jang raped and killed the female owner of a bar in Gwangju and ran away. He was caught by police after a week and sentenced to 12 years in jail for the murder.

Police said Jang is suspected to have anger management issues.
