Police list most sex offence-prone stations in Seoul

The subway stations where sexual offence cases were most frequent in Seoul were Express Bus Terminal, Sindorim, Hongik University and Sadang stations, in that order, according to data from the National Police Agency, Monday.
In 2016, a total of 1,488 sex crimes occurred in Seoul subway stations, out of which 131 were at Express Bus Terminal station on Line No. 3.
Following this was Sindorim station with 107 cases, Hongik University station with 104 and Sadang station with 93 cases.
Those were on Line No. 2, which had 13 stations in the top 30, the most of any line.

A year earlier in 2015, Gangnam station on Line No. 2 topped the list with 142 cases, but the number was reduced to 69 cases in 2016.
Line No. 4 was the subway line with the second-highest number of subway stations with nine stations in the top 30.
