[Monitor] Low-cost carriers expand presense on interantional flights

The market share of Korea’s low-cost carriers in international passenger flights has continued to surge this year, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Monday.

In May alone, the international flights operated by low-cost carriers increased by an average of 50.8 percent, while large flag carriers lost an average of 5.4 percent.
