Dutch Charcuterie at Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Deli at Grand Hyatt Seoul is offering handmade charcuterie by world-renowned Dutch charcutier Benito Plasschaert until Dec. 4.

Plasschaert has mastered his art over the past 45 years, with new recipes using healthy ingredients.

The menu includes lavender ham; Swiss meatloaf with Emmental cheese; Greek-style meatloaf with olives and feta cheese; green grape or baked apple and fruit flavored pate; foie gras terrine with truffle oil; terrine of veal marinated in herbs and rosemary; handmade sausages of venison; saffron chicken and beef; and more than 25 other delicacies.

Christmas package at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul

Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, located in the center of Seoul, is offering a Christmas package from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1. It includes a stay at a luxurious Banyan Tree room, sparkling wine, a handmade cake and lucky draw prizes.

The Christmas cake is made at Mont St. Clair bakery, and guests can participate in the lucky draw which offers prizes such as a De’Longhi kettle, a Banyan Tree tumbler and a lap blanket. Guests are also provided with breakfast for two daily at the Granum Dining Lounge, along with free access to an indoor swimming pool and fitness center.

Christmas cakes at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s restaurant Feast, located on the 41st floor of the hotel, is offering six different kinds of Christmas cakes prepared by pastry chef Simon Hardie throughout December.

The varieties are yule log, chocolate mud cake, cheese cake, brownie, tiramisu and red velvet cake. The yule log is dusted with cocoa powder, shaped like a log and rolled with vanilla whipped cream. The chocolate mud cake is dark and fudgy, with rich chocolate frosting and topped with Christmas decorations. The cheese cake, brownie, tiramisu and red velvet cake are the hotel’s signature cakes. Christmas cakes and desserts at Conrad Seoul

Conrad Seoul’s takeout deli Zest 2 Go, located on the second floor of the hotel, is offering a collection of holiday cakes and desserts for the Christmas season from Dec. 1-25.

The offer includes original and limited edition Christmas cakes, such as the “Christmas Santa Hat Cake” made with Valrhona chocolate mousse and strawberry cream; and the “Ornament Galaxy Cake” that looks like a Christmas tree and is made with dark and white chocolate and rose Framboise cream.

The Buche de Noel cake made of chocolate mousse, white tiramisu and dark chocolate mousse, as well as pies and cookies are also available. Cake prices start from 60,000 won. For more information, call the restaurant at (02) 6137-7120. 



Christmas desserts at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul

The Delicatessen at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul is offering a range of Christmas desserts -- chocolate, cookies, candies and marshmallows as well as yule log cake -- from Dec. 1-25.

Other highlights include traditional German Christmas fruitcake made of dried fruits, candied fruit peel and star-shaped cinnamon cookies; assorted gingerbread cookies; and crescent moon-shaped vanilla and chocolate kipfel cookies.
