KT has been rolling out various market activities, including printed advertisements, throughout this year to communicate with consumers. These efforts are now being recognized by many of our customers.

KT believes that users of GiGA LTE and GiGA internet services by KT helped usher in the era of GiGA networks in South Korea.

It has been our consistent message that KT, the nation’s leading mobile carrier, exists together with consumers, and we have relayed this idea through our printed advertisement.

Under the main theme of “Collabo,” meaning collaboration, the company adopted a new visual code, the “Fist Bump,” which we hoped consumers would find friendly and familiar.

KT has conjured up visual codes to help people visualize what the company is trying to do upon each new campaign. For example, the flame mark represents the Warp campaign and the snap of a finger was designed to symbolize the Good Choice campaign.

In Western countries, people bump fists to greet or celebrate with friends. With the fist bump sign, KT uses the catchphrase, “Will you join us in a bigger world of GiGA?” We wanted to let consumers know we are making GiGA technology available for our consumers and with it, a new world.

Taking an approach that goes beyond simply working with popular models as spokespersons, we have strove to personalize our brand and add codes that can draw in consumers. We believe this approach has contributed to the good feedback from the Korea Herald Advertisement Awards.

KT will continue to communicate well with our customers through such compassionate campaigns.
