On Oct. 25, Shinsegae (004170) declined 5.51% to 188,500 won (US$165.93). It had declined 0.79% through the past month. Standard deviation, the risk index for stock price, was 1.8% over the same period of time over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSPI, even though the investment return of Shinsegae was satisfactory among its peer group, its volatility for 1 month was the highest among its peer group. Over the recent month, the return-on-risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -0.4%.
