JYP Entertainment is once again proving itself to be a K-pop powerhouse.

The latest releases by the agency’s artists have been sweeping music charts in recent weeks.

On Monday morning, girl group Twice -- best known for hit tracks such as “Like Ooh-Aah” and “Cheer Up” -- returned to the spotlight with its third mini album “TWICEcoaster: Lane 1.”

The album’s title track “TT” dominated major local music charts, including Bugs, MelOn, Mnet, Genie, Soribada, Monkey3, Olleh Music and Naver Music. Its remaining six songs appeared among the top 15.

Trailing just a couple of spots behind Twice is project girl group I.O.I’s latest single “Very Very Very,” which also topped charts upon its release last Monday.

The company’s founder Park Jin-young contributed to writing and producing the song to show support for I.O.I’s member Jeon So-mi, who is currently a member of the JYP family.

In addition, the agency’s leading boy bands GOT7 and 2PM announced new albums, “Flight Log: Turbulence” and “Gentlemen’s Game,” respectively, last month. Both releases dominated music charts at home and abroad.
