[THE INVESTOR] More than 60 percent of South Korean companies are favorable to a former employee’s return, a survey showed Tuesday.

According to the survey conducted by recruitment portal service Job Korea, 65.9 percent of 276 employers in charge of personnel said that they would be pleased to see a former employee return to work. High adaptability and useful experience elsewhere were cited as the main reasons.

In contrast, 34.1 percent said they would not welcome a former staff member back, due to a lack of trust and because they did not want it to become a common occurrence.

Of the respondents, 75.7 percent said they had former employees that they would re-hire if they could, due to their good performance and work attitude.
