Japan’s largest carrier Japan Airlines is offering various promotions for JAL Mileage Bank members through its official website from Sept. 23 to Oct. 16, the company said Tuesday.

JMB members traveling from Korea to Japan are eligible for a 5 percent discount off original prices, the firm said.

The following routes are eligible for the discount: Gimpo International Airport to Haneda International Airport; Incheon Airport to Narita International Airport; and Gimhae International Airport to Narita International Airport.

During the promotion period, 120 customers who purchase JAL flight tickets will also be selected by the firm to receive pouches.

The carrier also plans to randomly hand out 100 mobile coffee coupons every week for three weeks to members who login to their JMB account or renew their password.

Meanwhile, Japan Airlines is also currently running special deals for flights to eight cities in the US and Canada, including New York and Vancouver.

“Routes up for promotion will depart from Korea and stop by Japan before heading to their destinations,” a company spokesman said.

For routes to North America, the carrier uses the Boeing 787, Boeing 777 and other up-to-date aircraft models to provide a comfortable journey to customers, the company said in a statement.
