K-pop girl group Apink has returned with full force.

Following the release of their third full-length album “Pink Revolution” on Monday morning, the album’s lead track “Only One” topped seven local music charts -- Naver Music, Olleh Music, Mnet, Genie, Bugs, Monkey3 and Soribada -- in less than 12 hours, according to the group’s management agency PlanA Entertainment on Monday.

Produced in collaboration with a leading producer and songwriting team Black-eyed Pilseung, “Only One” is the group’s first track inspired by hip-hop and rhythm and blues tunes.

Having debuted with the track “I Don’t Know” from their first mini album, “Seven Springs of Apink,” in 2011, the girl group has gone on to gain global recognition. They made their way to Japan in 2014 and garnered a wide following there, completing their second Japanese tour this summer.

Apink has also performed alongside some of the biggest names in global pop, including American rock band OneRepublic, hip-hop group Far East Movement and others.

Returning to the spotlight here after a year away, the six-member act is scheduled to hold more broadcast appearances and promotional activities.
