[THE INVESTOR] On Sept. 26, OCI (010060) increased 5.10%, to 84,500 won (US$76.27). It had declined 10.04% through the past month. Standard deviation, the risk index for stock price, was 3.1% on the same period of time over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSPI, as the monthly volatility of OCI relatively expanded, the stock price decline to the lowest in its peer group. Over the recent month, the return-on-risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -3.2%. As increasing of volatility and decline of stock price, the return-on-risk was poor. Moreover, compared with the KOSPI industry, the return-on-risk is below the industrial mean, 0.6, and thus it is hard to say that the industrial comparison performance was positive.

From Sept. 22, institutions have been continuously selling OCI during the past two trading days. As a shareholding sum by investor group for the past four weeks, foreigners have bought 9,979 shares with a maintenance of shareholding and individuals have bought 439,161 shares with an increasing position. However, during the same period, institutions have sold 449,140 shares with a selling trend.
