[STOCK WATCH] ANP ends week on the up

[THE INVESTOR] On Sept. 13 ANP (121600) increased 3.42% to 16,650 won (US$14.88). It had declined 4.84% through the past month. Standard deviation, which indicates volatility of stock, records 2.7% on the same period over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSDAQ, even though the monthly earnings rate of ANP was negative, its volatility for 1 month was relatively higher among its peer group. Over the recent month, the return-on-risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -1.7%. Though the volatility was high, low decreasing rate of stock price lead that the return-on-risk remained around the average of its peer group. In spite of that, the return-on-risk is much better than the industrial mean, -8.0, and thus the industrial comparison performance was positive. 


   


On Sept. 12, institutions and foreigners bought 1,181 shares and 9,453 shares. As a shareholding sum by investor group for the past four weeks, Institutions have bought 76,228 shares with trending trade. However, during the same period, foreigners have sold 48,165 shares with maintenance of a selling position and individuals have sold 28,063 shares with a decreasing position.
