Founded in 1937, the Japanese company raked in more than 33.6 million yen (US$335,000) in sales in 2015 and currently runs 40 global branches and factories around the world.

SK C&C will deploy its smart factory solution Scala in developing automated systems tailored for semiconductor and flat display manufacturing facilities.

“The two partners will try to roll out the new smart factory solutions designed for the Chinese market in the first half of next year,” said Park Jong-tae, a chief of SK Holdings C&C’s smart factory business unit.
