Korea’s leading credit card issuer KB Kookmin Card is offering diverse benefits to its customers this summer, the firm said last week.

The special offers under the firm’s 2016 Wish Festival Summer include discounts on tickets to 27 water parks and summer resorts in Korea such as Caribbean Bay and Ocean World. KB Kookmin card holders will enjoy up to 40 percent discounts. 

Customers who pay with KB Kookmin’s credit card will also be able to make payments through interest-free installments. Those made at department stores, airlines, hotels, hospitals, shops and e-commerce platforms will be interest-free for a maximum of five months. This offer will last till the end of August.

A lucky draw will also be conducted among card holders who make payments of more than 50,000 won ($45). Winners will receive prizes such as gift cards, Starbucks coffee and cashbacks worth 5 million won.

Prepaid cards worth 100,000 won will be also given to those who make purchases with their credit cards at duty-free shops.

“We have had this special offer every year and it has always satisfied customers,” said an official from the firm. “We hope this will boost consumption.”
