What was originally the Conrad Seoul Hotel’s outdoor garden terrace is now the city’s latest rooftop bar.

The beautiful open garden space has been revamped into the VVertigo rooftop bar, a dining experience where visitors can enjoy stunning views with a great atmosphere, coupled with an equally excellent menu.

The space was redesigned in May to create a rooftop bar hidden amid the forest of high-rise buildings in Yeouido. It was inspired by the sophisticated rooftop bars of Bangkok and New York.

Visitors can try out the venue’s six specially customized signature cocktails, which includes the VVertigo Pleasure, an herbaceous drink consisting of whiskey, star anise, thyme and various spices. There is also the VVertigo Sojurito, which is a concoction of premium Hwayo 41 soju, lime, passion fruit and green grapes.

Besides the array of cocktails, VVertigo also serves grilled delicacies and fried dishes, including deep-fried soft shell crab with paprika chili sauce, rosemary marinated beef sirloin with watermelon, mustard and mint, and mustard-marinated Australian lamb skewers.

The bar also showcases the latest contemporary beats every night with live music performances and DJ sets.

VVertigo is on the ninth floor of the hotel and opens from 5 p.m. to midnight from Sundays through Thursdays, and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The outdoor venue is only open during summer.

For those looking for a more laidback atmosphere where they can sip coffee, there is also a new cafe 10G on the first floor of the Conrad. It sells baked goods, sandwiches and coffee drinks.

The Conrad Seoul Hotel is in Yeouido, adjacent to the IFC Mall. For more information on VVertigo or Cafe 10G, call (02) 6137-7766 or (02) 6137-7788, respectively.
