Singapore Airlines, Singapore’s flagship, award-winning airline company, is consistently working to improve its services and widen its travel routes to better serve and accommodate its customers.

It runs an “International Culinary Panel” consisting of world-class chefs and wine consultants, who have developed fine dining options for passengers, including gourmet dishes such as hearty, nutritious salads.

Singapore Airlines also prides itself on its cutting-edge in-flight entertainment and communications system known as “KrisWorld” which feature up to 296 movies, some 470 television programs and more than 450 CD albums each month.

Seeking to diversify customer options, Singapore Airlines offers the “premium economy” class in addition to the traditional economy, business, first and suite-class seats.

Each seat in this upscale economy class offers a width ranging between 47 and 49.5 centimeters and a 20 cm recline for extra comfort. Premium economy customers can also choose from a more extensive range of food and beverage offerings and enjoy priority check-in and baggage handling as well as 35 kg of baggage allowance.

Looking ahead, Singapore Airlines is set on expanding its U.S. travel routes. The airline will begin operating nonstop Singapore-San Francisco flights on the newly introduced A350-900 aircraft, with plans to launch additional direct routes to Los Angeles and New York in 2018.
