Midsummer night’s getaway at W Seoul-Walkerhill 

W Seoul-Walkerhill is offering a signature summer cocktail promotion 2016 W Tiki Night, featuring Polynesian cocktails and an exotic atmosphere at WooBar.

During the promotion, WooBar -- decorated Polynesian style -- will serve Tiki cocktails that have been modified from the popular 1940s and 1950s drinks. The cocktails are served in Tiki-shaped ceramic glasses representing New Zealand’s Maori tribe, or in tropical fruit such as coconuts.

The drinks include head hunter, a smooth coconut smoothie cocktail, spicy pina, a Tequila-based cocktail with apple mint, lime, pineapple juice and cinnamon powder, and jungle bird, a tropical-style dark rum cocktail.

Cocktails are priced at 26,000 won each. The cocktail promotions run every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. until the end of August.

Happy weekend at Lotte City Hotel Daejeon

Lotte City Hotel Daejeon will be presenting summer packages from July 1 to the end of August.

The “Oh, Happy Weekend” package, which is only available on Saturdays, involves one night’s stay in a Standard or Hollywood Room and a breakfast buffet for two. Visitors will get the benefit of a late checkout at 3 p.m.

The hotel also offers packages for families with children. The “Summer Kids Package 1” includes one night’s stay at a Standard or Hollywood Room, a breakfast buffet for two at C’ Cafe, a gift set of snacks for children and a Bulgogi burger set at Lotteria. The “Summer Kids Package 2” includes one night’s stay at a Standard or Hollywood Room, a breakfast buffet for two at C’ Cafe, a Starbucks gift card worth 10,000 won, and two tickets for the children’s musical “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”

The “Oh, Happy Weekend Package” is priced at 130,000 won, 150,000 won for “Summer Kids Package 1” and “Summer Kids Package 2” at 160,000 won, exclusive of tax and service charge.

Celebrate first birthday at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul is presenting a summer first birthday “Dol” promotion throughout August for families planning a special event for their babies’ first birthday.

The promotion includes a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine for the toast, a first birthday “Dol” photo table and family photo shoots. For those who invite more than 40 guests, one night’s stay at the Grand King Room will also be provided.

Parties will be held at the Namsan Room on the second floor, which is equipped with high-tech sound and video facilities.

Each birthday party can accommodate from 10 to 80 people, and prices range from 2.695 million won to 10.67 million won, including tax.

Outdoor barbecue party at Courtyard Seoul Namdaemun

Courtyard Seoul Namdaemun’s Skyline Terrace Party is for those seeking an outdoor barbecue party with unlimited draft beer.

At the hotel’s Terrace 194, chefs will provide barbecue cooked at the site and unlimited draft beer, sparkling wine and other beverages.

At least 25 people should attend the party to make a reservation, and each party is limited to two hours. Guests can enjoy the unlimited drinks after the two-hour party is over, with the additional fee of 20,000 won per guest.

The party is priced at 80,000 won per guest including tax and service fee.

Exotic summer vacation at Imperial Palace Seoul Hotel

Imperial Palace Seoul Hotel is presenting a Midsummer Night Package from July 16 to Aug. 31, featuring a perfect summer vacation at the exotic outdoor swimming pool.

The package includes one night’s stay at a Deluxe or Business room, access to the nighttime outdoor pool or a voucher for two for happy hour at the Lobby Lounge, and two movie tickets. Molton Brown travel kits and Instyle magazines will also be given to the guests.
