[THE INVESTOR] Korea’s trade promotion agency has opened a trade center in Ivory Coast in its efforts to make inroads into the West Africa market, it said on June 24.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said the center was opened in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory Coast, on June 23 and will handle trade affairs in seven other West African countries, including Senegal.
With this, the total number of KOTRA’s overseas trade centers has risen to 126 in 126 countries.
Hyundai Engineering and KEPCO Engineering & Construction, a South Korean power plant builder, have participated in building infrastructure projects in Ivory Coast.
