Verove appointed Hyatt Regency Jeju GM

Hyatt Regency Jeju announced the appointment of Patrick Verove as its new general manager.

Verove will be in charge of the hotel’s operations and management, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the hotel industry.

Before joining Hyatt Regency Jeju, he spent more than five years as the manager of Grand Hyatt Incheon.

Verove started his career in 1989 at Grand Hyatt Melbourne, beginning his 27-year relationship with Hyatt.

“I am committed to continuing the successful performance of the hotel, delivering the service and value of the Hyatt Regency brand to local and international guests,” Verove said in a press statement.

Movie time at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul is offering “Winter Movie Fun” package in partnership with Sony Pictures for families and friends Dec. 4 -Jan.17.

The Winter Movie Fun package includes one night in a Grand Room, access to the cinema lounge in the hotel, three movie tickets to the “Hotel Transylvania 2” feature-length animation and rental skates for the hotel’s Ice Rink. “Hotel Transylvania 2” will be released Dec. 24.

A 10 percent discount at its restaurants and spa and the use of a 24-hour fitness club, plus free Wi-Fi are included in the package.

Popcorn, nacho, juice, coffee and other refreshments will be available for those watching the movie in the hotel’s cinema lounge. 

Romantic night-out at Sheraton D Cube

Sheraton D Cube City Hotel will offer “Christmas Romantic Set” Dec. 24-25 in the hotel’s Lobby Lounge Bar on the 41st floor.

Its Christmas plates include skewers of beef, lamb and abalone, smoked salmon and tuna with Moët & Chandon.

The hotel will also offer a bottle of Veuve Clicquot brut yellow label at Lobby Lounge Bar where guests can enjoy a dining experience with a panoramic view of the city.

The Christmas Romantic Set will also be available at the hotel’s Feast restaurant from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy parties at W Seoul-Walkerhill

W Seoul-Walkerhill in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul will be holding the “Stop the Clock” Festive Eve Party series at its stylish WooBar until the end of this month.

Designed with the concept of “Have fun as if you did not realize the passing of time,” this year’s year-end parties boast a lineup of well-known DJs as well as performances by dance teams.

The hotel said this is part of efforts to bring to the table a unique set of entertainment experiences and the latest club music for hotel’s guests.

On the last day of December, the DJ performance duo London Beats will present a 2015 finale by showcasing electrifying sounds and instrumental beats.
