Grand Hyatt Incheon introduces year-end signature dishes


Restaurant 8, located on the first floor of the East Tower of Grand Hyatt Incheon, has launched the “Signature Menu of the Year” until Dec. 31. 

The course includes five dishes from around the world which were the most popular from Restaurant 8’s “Journey” promotion, which took place throughout the year.

The main dish is the black chicken soup, originally presented during the summer, to give guests strength in the freezing winter. Strawberry sable breton -- a kind of almond biscuit -- provides guests with a sweet finale.

Restaurant 8 Journey is a year-round promotion that showcases specialties from each kitchen every month. 

The promotion has introduced a variety of authentic menus, including Cucina’s Cuisine of Lombardy and Café’s Signature French wine-pairing menu.

Imperial Palace Seoul to host kids’ party

Imperial Palace Seoul will set up a gingerbread house in the hotel’s lobby, Christmas trees with baby light bulbs and snowman for kids during the winter.

The hotel’s “Kids’ Palace Christmas Party” will hold the “Kids’ Palace” event in the Dubhe Hall and Selena Hall with a special Christmas buffet.  

Programs include cake baking, tree making and Christmas card making classes for children.

The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The price is 120,000 won for adults and 80,000 won for children, including tax and service charge.

Meanwhile, Lobby Lounge Delmar will host the romantic “Love Eve Party” for couples on Dec. 24, featuring unlimited wine with a steak dinner course. Guest can also enjoy a live carol concert during the party.


Grand Ambassador Seoul hosts Blanc Bleu Art Fair

Grand Ambassador Seoul is holding the 4th Blanc Bleu Hotel Art Fair from Dec. 18-20.

Some 120 artists, including Wang Yeol, Jang An-sun, Yu Hang-mi, Han Myeong-il and Ju Hong-mi are participating in the fair.

A sweepstake event will also be held with round trip flight tickets to Europe and tickets for overseas hotel stays as prizes.

The proceeds from the admissions fees and artwork sales will be donated to “Plan Korea,” which will be used to alleviate the poverty of children and protect their rights all over the world.

The exhibition will be held on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors. Admission costs 10,000 won, but the fee will be waived for members of the hotel’s membership program.

The exhibition is sponsored by Turkish Airlines, French Korean Chamber of Commerce, Jeil Hospital, Plan Korea, Laurie‘s The Prime Rib, Spa Ocelas, Treeannsea and Kippis Day.


Spa promotion at SEAMARQ

SEAMARQ Hotel will be offering “The Spa Special Event” until the end of this month for Gangwon Province residents.

During promotion period, residents of Gangwon Province can receive 20-percent discount on all spa treatment programs at the hotel’s premium luxury spa.

In addition, all spa customers will be offered free entrance to Thermal Suite sauna that is equipped with an outdoor jacuzzi.

Christmas cakes at Sheraton D Cube

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s chefs will be presenting Christmas cakes for the winter festive season.

Sheraton Christmas cakes range from cheesecake, brownie, tiramisu, red velvet, dark chocolate mousse, caramel mousse to white chocolate mousse.

The caramel mousse is covered in white chocolate glaze resembling a snow covered field and dark chocolate mousse covered with dark chocolate and vanilla mousse filling inside.

Also, white chocolate mousse cake with eggnog and a hint of coconut scented mousse filling covered in white chocolate glaze will be offered to guests during the week of Christmas.

Christmas cakes are available at Feast, located on the 41st floor of Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel.
