Renault Samsung Motors Co., the local unit of French auto firm Renault S.A., said Tuesday that its November sales shrank 5.5 percent on-year mainly due to a slump in domestic sales.
The automaker said in a press release that it sold a total of 20,873 units last month, compared with the 19,935 units tallied a year earlier.
Exports surged 10.1 percent on-year to 14,867 units, while domestic sales dropped 30 percent to 6,006 units.
During the January-October period, Renault Samsung said it sold a cumulative 203,528 units, up 39.2 percent from the year before. (Yonhap)
