[Graphic News] Lydia Ko takes LPGA prize money crown

Eighteen-year-old Lydia Ko was confirmed Player of the Year at the final round of the CME Group Tour Championship Sunday, becoming the youngest winner in the 49-year history of the Rolex Player of the Year award.

Finishing the tournament in a tie for seventh at 11 under par, Ko attained total of 280 points, beating Park In-bee by a mere two points.

The New Zealander also won the LPGA Money Title, raking in $2.8 million this season.

Ko is followed by Park, who earned $2.63 million, and Stacy Lewis with $1.89 million.

Ko and Park reportedly plan to enter the 2016 Rio Olympics.
