Chadwick International

Someone told me to find three reasons to say “thanks” while you walk from your bed to the bathroom every morning for a healthier and happier life. It was a struggle at first, but I can now easily find three things that I’m thankful for.

Just as I practice my three reasons on “why” I am thankful, I realized our students at Chadwick International find various ways to define their “why” when they come to school each day and explore.

One of the explorations that encouraged students to be thankful is the “Here and Now” campaign, through which students actualize their dreams and hopes. The first campaign series was about a little girl who is living her dream by learning about marine creatures, actualizing her life as a little marine biologist.

The second series was on being a musician. Learning to utilize musical talents takes hours of meticulous practice and self-discipline. However, it is also rewarding for students to find ways to express their thoughts and emotions through music while feeling “alive.” There is no other time for us to feel alive than “here and now”. Through the campaign, I’ve learned that students have their own motivation each day, and I’m sure they are thankful for the opportunities to find themselves.

Today, I’m thankful that Chadwick International is once again acknowledged as one of the best institutions in Korea. The recognition is a reminder that Chadwick continues to prosper and that our students continue to explore and enjoy while immersing themselves in quality education. This year’s honor certainly is “Here and Now.”
