Autumn picnic package at Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul is presenting from Sept. 14 through Nov. 29 the Autumn Picnic Package for those seeking a picnic in the heart of the city and a cozy getaway in a hotel room, available for local guests in Korea and foreigners with resident cards.

The package includes an overnight stay in a guest room along with a taxi voucher for 10,000 won; a takeout picnic box, which consists of Deli Amador’s club sandwiches and two bottles of Perrier sparkling water; and two glasses of seasonal persimmon juice at Del Mar, the hotel’s lobby lounge. Recommended picnic locations include the nearby Dosan Park and Bongeunsa Temple. 

Guests staying on the Club Floor will also be able to enjoy breakfast for two at the Club Imperial Lounge, the happy hour buffet and the hotel sauna. Guests who share a picture on Instagram (@imperialpalaceseoul) during their stay can win various benefits.

Autumn picnic and cuisine at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul

Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul has launched two packages for the autumn season, available from Sept. 5 to Nov. 30.

The “Autumn Picnic Package,” priced at 470,000 won per night, offers a complimentary picnic blanket, coffee and tea at the Club Member’s Restaurant, and a private picnic at the nearby Mount Namsan. Breakfast for two and access to the indoor pool, fitness club and sauna are also included.

The “Gourmet Dining Package,” priced at 640,000 won per night, offers breakfast for two and an Asian-style dinner at restaurant Granum Dining Lounge or Korean cuisine at the Club Member’s Restaurant. International cake festival at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Cilantro Deli is hosting an international cake festival from Sept. 7-26. The cakes will feature flavors and ingredients inspired from around the world, and include green tea mousse, orange crunch, black forest, New York cheesecake, caramel chocolate and more. Flavors from China, Thailand, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Taiwan, Belgium, Singapore and the U.S. will be incorporated into the cakes. Whole cakes will be available for sale at 40,000 won to 48,000 won.

Cilantro Deli has been relocated next to the hotel lobby’s main entrance, offering a spacious seating section. The deli additionally holds a variety of beverages and sandwiches and a sumptuous array of desserts including chocolates, breads and pastries. Wedding show at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is presenting a wedding show titled the “Small Wedding Launching Show” for soon-to-be-wed couples. The hotel will be introducing various flower decorations and wedding styles at its outdoor terrace, located on the 8th floor. The Tulip & Rose Terrace is an ideal venue for small sized weddings with 80 or so guests.

The terrace can be rearranged to fit the need and desired theme of the wedding being held, and is suitable for both formal and casual ceremonies. Indoors convention lounges at the hotel are available for the after-wedding reception.

Poolside barbecue at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s outdoor restaurant, The Poolside Barbeque, is presenting the “Brew and BBQ Fest at Poolside” promotion where guests can enjoy a German style grill menu and craft beer, from Sept. 19-30.

The Poolside Barbeque is Grand Hyatt Seoul’s outdoor buffet restaurant, open between May and September and featuring endless delights straight off the charcoal grill, along with poolside dining and magnificent views. Views of Namsan Mountain and the Han River are available from the entire outdoor dining area.

During the promotion period, guests will not only be able to enjoy the regular buffet specialties including sirloin steak, lamb, chicken, and prawn, but also have the chance to discover German cuisine such as sausages, meatloaf, and sauerkraut.
