New mobile application at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul is launching a new lifestyle app that provides information on hotel rooms, restaurants, events and nearby attractions. To celebrate the app’s Sept. 1 launch, a social event titled “Staycation of Your Dreams” will take place throughout September.

One of the app’s biggest features is Beacon, a new communication technology system that identifies and sends alerts on fun events and activities occurring within a 50 to 70 meter radius.

For example, if a guest who has installed the app passes through the lobby, he or she will receive a stream of information about events going on in the Lobby Lounge. Via the “City Guide” menu tab, the app also provides recommendations from the hotel’s concierge about great restaurants and favorite tourist spots.

All guests who install or share the app via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will be eligible to participate in a lucky draw, which features a one-night stay in a grand suite room, dinner buffet for two and a spa treatment.
