Private cabanas at Banyan Tree Macau 




Urban luxury resort Banyan Tree Macau -- located in Galaxy Macau, the region’s largest resort complex -- has opened Pool Cabana, a luxurious, private poolside shelter.

The pool deck is surrounded by palm trees and provides a well-serviced space for relaxation. The cabana is located nearby the Grand Resort Deck, the world’s largest man-made wave pool located on the rooftop of the Galaxy Hotel.

The newly launched eight cabanas hold six persons per room. Large, comfortable sofas, a marble table, widescreen television and Wi-Fi are available. The cabanas are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A world-famous Banyan Tree spa therapist will provide 30-minute neck and shoulder massages.

Summer stays at Lotte Hotel Seoul





Lotte Hotel Seoul is offering summer packages from June 1-Aug. 31. The Superior Package at 240,000 won includes a one-night stay in a superior room and apple mango bingsu at The Lounge. The Deluxe Package at 300,000 won offers a one-night stay in a deluxe room, apple mango bingsu at The Lounge, and breakfast buffet for two persons at La Seine or Peninsula.

Going green at Grand Hyatt Incheon





Environment-conscious travelers may want to take a visit to Grand Hyatt Incheon’s West Tower, just 3 minutes away from Incheon International Airport. The building was designed for eco-friendly construction and sustainable operations from its planning stages. Following a series of stringent criteria, the hotel has now obtained the gold grade of LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a U.S. seal that certifies eco-friendly buildings and is issued by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Key installments include full LED lighting, which uses only one-third of the electricity that incandescent lighting consumes; recycled water for toilets and gardening; building materials that contain less amounts of volatile organic compounds, or harmful chemicals; refrigerants that cause minimal damage to the ozone; and an outdoor garden and wooden deck which provide fresh air and reduce thermal pollution. Live music at Park Hyatt Busan

 


Park Hyatt Busan’s Living Room Bar is presenting a series of exciting music performances from jazz band BigFace. The band features a range of diverse instruments such as the piano, saxophone, drums and trumpet, and vocals. Mondays will feature swing music; Tuesdays, a trio of piano, bass and vocals; Wednesdays, contemporary jazz renditions of early Bach and more; Thursdays, soft and romantic music; and on Fridays, Latin jazz. Saturdays will see an exhilarating performance under the theme of “Saturday Night Live.”

Complete with a view of the Gwangan Bridge, a landmark of the seaside city, and the yacht marina, the bar offers modern French cuisine, wine, cocktails and more in a relaxed and lively atmosphere.

Pool party at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill



Sheraton Grande Walkerhill is opening its outdoor swimming pool Riverpark from June 19-Sep. 9. Riverpark features an adult pool with a panoramic view of the Han River, a children’s pool and a scrumptious poolside buffet.

During Green Season (June 19-July 3, Aug. 31-Sep.6), only the adult pool will be open. During Blue Season (July 4-July 24, Aug. 24-Aug.30) and Gold Season (July 25-Aug. 23), all facilities will be fully open. Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but will be extended to 10 p.m. during Gold Season. Prices range from 40,000 won to 200,000 won.
