Summer Splash  at Grand Hyatt Incheon


Grand Hyatt Incheon has launched its new “Grand Summer Splash Package,” available from July 17 to Aug. 31. Guests who book the package before July 7 will enjoy a 55,000 won ($50) discount. The package‘s “Fun” option, priced at 235,000 won, includes a one-night stay, breakfast for two, free access to the Grand Play World program and a souvenir. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s three swimming pools, complimentary access to the fitness center and a free shuttle bus to Wangsan Beach. The “Full” option, priced at 355,000 won, includes all of the above plus a special barbecue dinner at the hotel‘s Restaurant 8. During the summer package period, Grand Play World will feature Gymboree activities, art classes and a Nintendo video game zone. Also included are breakfast and dinner for two children under 12. A taste of Vietnam at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul


JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul will be guest starring chef Vu Phuong Thao of JW Marriott Hanoi, from June 5 to 12, at its all-day dining buffet restaurant Tavolo 24. The promotion is the first installment of the JW Marriott Asian Gourmet Tour. Chef Vu will be serving a selection of colorful Vietnamese dishes at Tavolo 24’s open cooking station. Highlights of Chef Vu’s menu include spring rolls with grilled pork and prawn, green mango salad with blanched prawns, green papaya salad with dried beef, Hanoi crab spring roll and Hanoi-style hot and sour fish soup. Sweet Vietnamese-style coffee, made by dripping coffee into condensed milk, will be served for dessert. A special beer promotion will feature Saigon and Hanoi, Vietnam’s two leading beer brands. Sheraton Grande Walkerhill is presenting the “Romance in Walkerhill” package from June 5 to Dec. 20 for couples seeking to make special memories. The “Oh My Sweetie” option, priced at 320,000 won, includes a one-night stay in the deluxe room and a romantic five-course dinner at the hotel’s European-style restaurant Clock 16. The dinner menu consists of mozzarella and tomato salad with pesto sauce, the chef’s soup of the day, grilled shrimp and scallops with caponata, charcoal-grilled prime hanwoo (Korean beef) tenderloin, sorbet and sweet potato cake. The Park Hyatt Seoul is offering the “Summer at the Park” package from June 1 to Aug. 31 for those seeking a relaxing vacation inside the city.
