Early summer getaway at Hilton Namhae Golf and Spa Resort


Hilton Namhae Golf and Spa Resort is offering the “Early Summer Package” for those planning a cooler, less-crowded early getaway for the upcoming summer season. The all-inclusive package includes a one-night stay in a suite room, breakfast buffet and dinner set. Also provided are a 60-minute spa program featuring a milk bath, foot bath, exfoliation and massage for the discounted price of 99,000 won, and a gift set of basic skin care, face mask and body wash items from organic cosmetics brand Suavis. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the hotel’s diverse facilities, which include a swimming pool, spa, jimjilbang (Korean spa), book cafe and kids’ activity center, making for a perfect family retreat. Classic American steak at Hotel Grand Ambassador Seoul


Hotel Grand Ambassador Seoul’s international dining restaurant Cafe de Chef is hosting the “American Prime Beef Promotion,” featuring various juicy parts of top-quality American beef. For the Business Set, diners can choose between wine-infused, slow-cooked beef and a beef stew; for the Premium Set, they can choose a marinated thick skirt steak, a thin skirt steak with herb butter sauce, or a sirloin steak with pepper cream sauce. The sets are priced at 46,000 won and 66,000 won, respectively. A five-course lunch menu is also available for 88,000 won, and features a main dish of beef tenderloin steak with horseradish sauce, ribeye steak or sirloin steak. The six-course dinner menu, priced at 99,000 won, includes an appetizer of beef carpaccio or bacon caprese; a beef consomme or mushroom-infused pumpkin cheese soup; and a main dish of tenderloin, sirloin or ribeye steak. Poolside barbecue at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul


The Oasis Restaurant located next to Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul’s outdoor swimming pool opened its poolside summer barbecue buffet on May 15. The barbecue offers beef sirloin, skirt steak, pork belly, lamb, jumbo shrimp, clam and scallop roasted at the spot on a grill. Mediterranean appetizers, salads, sandwiches and soup, along with Korean hot dishes, fruit and dessert, will also be available. Diners can enjoy the dinner buffet on Mondays to Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the lunch buffet on Sundays and holidays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. After June 7, however, only the dinner buffet will be available. Japanese liquor and food at Park Hyatt Seoul 


Park Hyatt Seoul’s restaurant The Timber House is hosting the “Masters of Food & Wine -- A Japanese Journey” event, featuring 30 different kinds of premium beverages such as the Japanese sake, beer, wine, whiskey, and cocktails along with an array of tasty dishes. Guests can enjoy 20 kinds of sake, from the light, sweet fresh sparkling sake to dry and mellow flavored varieties. Beverages including popular draft beers such as Asahi and Suntory and famous craft beers from COEDO will also be served, along with red and white wines such as the 2012 Blacklip Shiraz and the 2013 Sashimi Sauvignon Blanc -– all matched to perfection with expertly prepared Japanese cuisine. Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel’s acclaimed French restaurant Seasons is offering a special promotion featuring the exclusive Wagyu beef, considered a gastronomic luxury by meat lovers, throughout May. Known as one of the finest meats in the world, Wagyu refers to a highly sought-after breed of cattle that is genetically predisposed to intense marbling in its beef and less saturated fat content. Diners will be able to choose from roasted Wagyu beef sirloin, ribeye and tenderloin.
