As one of the most important information and communication platforms between the Gwangju 2015 Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC) and delegations, the HOD Meeting will be an opportunity for Gwangju to showcase the 2015 Summer Universiade to the world. Over 60 countries and some 200 delegates will attend the HOD Meeting. In addition, the meeting will also be in conjunction with the team draw for six team sports, i.e., basketball, volleyball, water polo, football, baseball, and handball.

The DPRK delegation expressed its intention of participation in March and confirmed its participation for the HOD Meeting on the 30th after submitting its application to participate in the 2015 Gwangju Universiade on March 3.

DPRK will participate in two team sports which are women’s handball and women’s football. The team draws will be confirmed and the schedules will be finalized at the HOD Meeting.

The Gwangju 2015 Organizing Committee (GUOC) has been working closely with the central government and will continue to work together with the DPRK delegation entry procedures.
