The all-new Lincoln MKX, a luxury midsize sport utility vehicle, is out to lure young Korean buyers at the Seoul Motor Show, Ford Motor Korea said in a press release.

MKX is the third strategic model that Lincoln, Ford’s luxury division, will debut this year for younger Korean buyers, following the 2015 luxury sedan MKZ and the MKC, Lincoln’s compact SUV.

Lincoln’s luxury crossover SUV shares the brand’s new signature split-wing grille with other revamped models. The brand’s lead designer Max Wolff created the grille, inspired by an eagle’s wings in flight.

The available full-LED headlamps are subtly executed as blades, aligned with the horizontal execution of the split-wing grille.

The interior design of the new Lincoln MKX complements the exterior design by blending function with flowing forms to inspire a sense of luxurious adventure.

The push-button gear shift enables true flow-through from the instrument panel to the center console.

The luxury SUV also features high-end Revel audio systems.

Besides the Lincoln MKX, Ford Motor Korea introduces its two diesel-powered brands ― the all-new Mondeo sedan and the new Kuga ― in an effort to expand the diesel car lineup.

The fourth-generation Mondeo, improved with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, in particular, has a fuel efficiency of 15.9 kilometers per liter, the top performance in its segment, the company added.

To promote its diesel car lineup, Ford Korea is running the “Ford Diesel Zone” at its booth during the motor show.
