UPS Korea said Monday that together with Korea Post, the country’s state-run postal service, it will offer a premium international mail service for those applying to overseas universities until Feb. 27 next year.

UPS and Korea Post, which have provided a premium express mail service for college applicants for the past two years, said they will use the global logistics network of UPS to ensure rapid deliveries of Koreans’ admission applications to some 220 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K.

Those who use the service can receive free tracking information on their applications on their mobile phones, or can check the status of their mail on UPS’ homepage.

“The (premium) EMS with UPS’ strategic partner Korea Post was created from constantly listening to the needs of our customers,” J.K. Rah, managing director of UPS Korea said in a press release.

“Our customers will be able to use our efficient delivery service through the company’s expanded logistics center in Incheon.”
