Gala dinner by Michelin-starred chef at The Plaza

The Plaza will provide a gala dinner prepared by Italian chef Philippe Leveille, whose restaurant Miramonti L’altro in Italy received two Michelin stars for 13 years. French-born Leveille is known to add a French edge to his Italian dishes. Leveille will use luxury ingredients such as caviar, truffles and foie gras for the gala dinners on Nov. 26 and 28, accompanied by Albert Bichot wines. The first gala dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Maple hall on Nov. 26 and at the hotel’s Italian restaurant Tuscany at the same time on Nov. 28. Gala dinner dishes include monkfish bomboniera with potato cream and black truffle, Miramonti risotto with white truffle, and home-made spaghetti with red prawn carbonara and crispy caviar. The prices for a six-course lunch and eight-course dinner are 120,000 won and 170,000 won, respectively. For more information, call (02) 310-7200. 


‘Warmy Homey’ winter package at The Westin Chosun

The Westin Chosun is offering the winter accommodation package “Warmy Homey” until March 1. The package comes in three types –- Deluxe, Executive and Suite, and is priced from 240,000 won to 480,000 won depending on room types and benefits. The Executive package includes a gift voucher and homemade jam, dressing, pickle or coffee beans. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, afternoon snack and happy hour cocktails and other refreshments in the Executive Lounge. Christmas Dinner at the Grand Hilton

On Christmas Eve, the Grand Hilton Seoul presents a gala dinner at the Buffet Restaurant and the Atrium Cafe. The dinner at the Buffet Restaurant will start with appetizers including prawn and crab cocktail, beetroot and vodka cured salmon. For the main dish, Peking duck and tender Korean beef with olive oil and parmesan mash will also be on offer. The dinner will be paired with chardonnay or Shiraz. Guests can choose from two seating times -- from 5:30-7:30 p.m. or from 8-10 p.m. The dinner is priced at 100,000 won per person. Thanksgiving dinner at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul

JW Marriott Hotel Seoul offers Thanksgiving dinner at the grill restaurant and the buffet restaurant on Nov. 27. The grill restaurant JW’ Grill presents a Thanksgiving family set course menu (260,000 won), featuring a whole 6-kilogram turkey for four to six people and other side dishes. The family set course dinner must be ordered at least two days in advance. JW’s Grill also provides a set course dinner (100,000 won) that includes Almas caviar, smoked salmon, lobster cream soup, fig compote and foie gras and a main course of herb butter-roast turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce. The buffet restaurant Café will serve a variety of special dishes including roast turkey. The buffet is priced at 87,000 won. Winter retreat at Park Hyatt Seoul

Park Hyatt Seoul presents the “Winter at the Park” package, which includes a one-night stay in a guest room and unique gifts from Dec. 1 to Feb. 28. Guests who make reservations for regular guestrooms will be given a gift set of natural honeycomb and a herb and flower tea set.
