HUFS to host introductory session for studying in Europe

An introductory session for students looking to study in Europe will be held at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, officials said Thursday.

The Study and Research in Europe fair on Oct. 30 at the university’s Obama Hall, will provide information related to studying in European countries such as scholarship programs, application processes and curriculums.

It is cohosted by a delegation from the European Union, along with European embassies and higher education institutes here. A total of 15 countries will participate: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The organizers will set up a booth for each country to provide students with individual consultations. Visitors will also be offered presentations by each country and language workshops where they can obtain advice on how to learn foreign languages effectively.

Students who want to pre-register for the event can do so at www.study-in-europe.kr. They can also sign up on the day.
