A Korean NGO is inviting students from developing countries to attend a free training session to study Korea’s economic development.

Saemaul Undong Central Training Institute, run as a member NGO of the United Nations Development Program to spread information about the development strategy used by Korea in the 1970s, will offer the course in Korean or English from Nov. 6-8.

Lectures, a panel discussion session, group discussion sessions, video presentations and a tour of the Saemaul Museum will be on offer.

The course will take place in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and the institute will cover the travel expenses of students that attend.

Students wishing to take part should be currently enrolled and be from a developing country as designated by the U.N.

To apply to join, fill in and submit an application form, which can be downloaded from ikissa.wordpress.com/2014, by Oct. 24.
