Ladies’ Code tops music charts after member’s death
By Korea HeraldPublished : Sept. 4, 2014 - 10:43

“I’m Fine Thank You,” from second EP “Pretty Pretty” is at the top of nine music charts on Korea’s prominent music streaming sites, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Soribada.
Despite the song being released last September, it is being purchased by people wanting to offer condolences for EunB and fulfill her lifetime dream of “topping the music charts.”
The movement to make EunB’s wish come true was started by fans of Ladies’ Code Wednesday through SNS and online communities, inviting people to listen to the song “I’m Fine Thank You.”
The accident happened Wednesday, when the van carrying Ladies’ Code suddenly lost control and crashed into a wall at around 1:32 a.m. on a freeway near Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
Member EunB was killed and the members Sojung and RiSe were seriously injured. RiSe remains unconscious, with surgery on her halted due to low blood pressure.
The funeral for EunB is being held in Korea University Anam Hospital in Seoul.
