성룡 아들 체포, 방조명-가진동 마약복용 혐의로

성룡 아들 방조명과 대만의 톱스타 가진동이 중국 베이징서 마약 복용 혐의로 경찰에 체포돼 누리꾼들 사이에서 화제다.

지난 19일 중국 언론에 따르면 방조명과 가진동이 지난 17일 오후 마약 복용 혐의로 베이징에 위치한 성룡의 별장에서 현장 체포되었다.

베이징 공안은 "가진동과 방조명 모두 소변검사 결과 양성반응이 나왔고, 체포 당시 두 사람은 대마초 100g이상을 소지하고 있었다"고 전했다.

이어 "소지량이 워낙 많아 경범죄가 아닌 중범죄로 형사처벌을 받을 수 있다"고 덧붙였다.

성룡 아들 방조명의 소속사는 "현재 방조명과 연락이 두절된 상황이다. 소속사로서 방조명과 함께 물의를 끼친 것에 깊이 사죄한다. 사회 각계의 비판을 달게 받고 방조명이 다시 올바른 길로 나아갈 수 있는 원동력으로 삼겠다"고 말했다.

한편 방조명은 중화권에서 활동하고 있는 탑배우로 앞서 한 차례 마약 복용 사실로 경고를 받은 바 있어 더욱 비난여론이 거세다.

Jackie Chan’s son detained in Beijing drug bust

Police and state media say Jackie Chan’s actor-son Jaycee Chan has been detained in Beijing on drug-related charges, the latest high-profile celebrity to be ensnared in one of China’s biggest anti-drug crackdowns in two decades, AP reported.

Beijing’s police said late Monday on its official microblog site that a 32-year-old Hong Kong actor identified only by his surname, Chen, was detained Thursday together with his Taiwanese actor friend.

The official Xinhua News Agency identified the detainees as Jaycee Chan and Kai Ko, the Taiwanese movie star.

Police say both actors tested positive for marijuana and admitted using the drug, and that 100 grams of it were taken from Chan’s home, according to the AP report.

Chan is accused of accommodating drug users, an offense that carries a maximum sentence of three years’ imprisonment, it added. (From news report)
