Seafood Night at Conrad Seoul


Conrad Seoul’s buffet restaurant Zest is holding a seafood night every Tuesday during the month of August. Zest’s open kitchen and live cooking stations will showcase seafood dishes from around the world. Highlights include marinated chili crab in the Korean section, a tuna-carving table at the Japanese corner, and fresh seafood ingredients cooked to order at the Teppanyaki station. In addition, guests can sample steamed snow crab and grilled scallops, to name just a few of the myriad of steamed and grilled dishes that will be specially prepared on seafood night. Incheon Asian Games Package at Hyatt Regency Incheon

Hyatt Regency Incheon is offering a special package to celebrate the 2014 Asian Games to be held in Incheon from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4. The package includes a one-night stay in a comfortable guestroom, a complimentary breakfast and a doll of the Games’ mascot, a spotted seal named Vichoun. In addition, guests can enjoy a complimentary cocktail at Vy Bar & Karaoke after watching the games, treat themselves to a massage in the hotel’s sauna, and make use of the fitness center and swimming pool. Winemaker’s Dinner at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s French restaurant Seasons is holding a Winemaker’s Dinner on Aug. 22. Typically, wines are chosen to bring out the flavors of the food on the menu. A winemaker’s dinner, in contrast, puts the spotlight on the wine, with dishes carefully selected to complement the wine’s flavor. Seasons’ Winemaker’s Dinner will feature Onda D’Oro wines from Napa Valley’s Dana Estates, a Korean-owned company noted for receiving a perfect score on one of its wines from the world’s leading wine critic Robert Parker. Summer Art Festival at Westin Chosun Seoul

The Westin Chosun Seoul is holding the 2014 Summer Art Festival “Firefly Concert” on Aug. 16 in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom. The concert will feature “Shin Chi Rim,” a folk music band comprise of three renowned musicians: Yoon Jongshin, Harim and Cho Junchi. “Shin Chi Rim” was founded in 2012 and is known for its folksy, relaxed music style. Recently, the band’s members have enlarged their public profile by appearing on numerous variety shows. Chuseok gift sets on sale at Lotte Hotel Seoul

Lotte Hotel Seoul’s bread and pastry boutique Delica-Hans is offering Chuseok Gift Sets through Sept. 8. Long-time favorites include the Premium Cheongbori Korean Beef Emperor Set and Premium Cheongbori Korean Beef Fresh Set, with prices starting at 300,000 won. Also on sale is the Gisoondo Premium Soy Sauce or Pepper Sauce Set, which is priced at 170,000 won.
