“K-drama Concert” is a live concert that fuses a talk show with a classical concert to bring maximum understanding of the original soundtracks from popular Korean dramas.

The new concept of concert brings actors who participated in sound production of drama series and singers who sang on the soundtracks onto the same stage. Moreover, songs that are composed and edited by Oh Joon-sung, the maestro behind many popular soundtracks from Korean dramas, will be played by a 70-piece orchestra and Kakao band to intensify emotions felt while watching the dramas.

During the concert, songs from 11 drama series from years 2009 to 2013 will be staged to continue the legacy as last year‘s “K-drama Concert” sought 40,000 fans.

The upcoming concert will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam, Seoul on Aug. 27. The line-up for singers featuring the concert is to be revealed gradually over the weeks to hype anticipation in awaiting fans.
