Seasonal summer menu at Renaissance Seoul Hotel

Renaissance Seoul Hotel’s Japanese restaurant Irodori is offering a summer seasonal food promotion until Aug. 31. Featured on the menu are the River Eel special and Spicy Croaker set, both priced at 120,000 won. The River Eel special includes broiled river eel with steamed rice, clear soup, river eel sushi and tomato soba noodles. The Spicy Croaker set, Irodori’s signature item, includes broiled eel, spicy croaker soup and steamed rice. The appetizer of the day, seafood salad, assorted sashimi and fruit dessert come with both. Ear candle healing treatment at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s Aequalis Spa is offering an ear candle therapy treatment until Aug. 31. The treatment starts with a scalp and shoulder massage, which improves blood circulation and relieves muscles from daily stress. An ear candle therapy treatment follows, enhancing the quality of sleep and alleviating headaches. The treatment concludes with an oxygen inhalation treatment, which helps focus the mind. Sizzling Sichuan specialties at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s signature Chinese restaurant Taipan is paying tribute to Sichuan cuisine until Aug. 31. Sichuan Province is the home of the spicy Sichuan peppercorn, which creates the characteristic piquant taste for which Sichuan cuisine is known. During this period, Taipan is offering two sets menus -- priced at 145,000 won for the eight-course meal and 115,000 won for the seven-course meal. The sets include braised sea cucumber and abalone in mala sauce, sautéed eel in gong bao sauce, sautéed lobster with deep fried red chili, and sautéed hanwoo beef with three kinds of peppers. Summer camping experience at InterContinental Seoul COEX

InterContinental Seoul COEX is offering a “glamping” experience accompanied by camping food and beers until Aug. 30. Glamping -- a neologism combining “glamorous” and “camping” -- refers to a comfortable camping experience in a place equipped with all kinds of amenities. For this event, the hotel lobby is turned into a camp ground, providing guests with an indoor camping experience in the center of Seoul. To complete the experience, guests will have the chance to taste beers and wines from around the world and hot dishes prepared by the hotel’s chefs. Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo celebrates 100th day of opening
