Peruvian Food Festival at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s signature restaurant The Terrace is inviting guests to a culinary tour of authentic Peruvian cuisine. The Peruvian Food Festival, co-hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Peru, will feature Peruvian and South American dishes cooked by a visiting native chef. To be included in the selection are Ceviche, a lemon-ripened seafood dish, Chicharron, a chewy pork rinds recipe, and Aji de Gallina, a tasty preparation of soft chicken breast with rice. Guests can sample Peru’s national dishes at Terrace’s lunch and dinner buffets -- priced from 73,000 to 82,000 won -- until Aug. 10. For more information, call (02) 799-8166. 


Unlimited Beer at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

Sheraton Grande Walker’s causal pub Sirocco is offering unlimited draft beer and seasoned chicken skewers as part of its “summer breeze” promotion, which will continue through Sept. 9. The price ranges from 40,000 to 80,000 won depending on the type of beer. Myongwolgwan, Sheraton’s Korean barbeque restaurant, is hosting an outdoor barbeque party on Aug. 13, Sept. 13 and 27, and Oct. 11 from 6-9 p.m. Guests can enjoy unlimited draft beer on top of a menu consisting of various barbeque dishes, salads and desserts. This second event is priced at 130,000 won for adults, 60,000 won for children, and 40,000 won for preschoolers, including tax and service charge. Summertime Meetings Package at Conrad Seoul

Conrad Seoul is offering a special package for groups planning large meetings this summer. The summertime meetings package includes rental of a meeting room equipped with a LCD projector and screen, coffee break, lunch with the choice of Korean traditional chicken soup or buffet at Conrad’s signature restaurant Zest, and one night’s hotel accommodation for meetings of 100 people or more. The Conrad has meeting and banquet spaces of various sizes, including two ballrooms and 11 executive rooms. Culturing Healing Experience at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is presenting a summer package focused on cultural healing until Aug. 31. The package includes the opportunity to attend book talk classes led by TV celebrity Ahn Sun-young, musical director Kolleen Park, travel writer Lee Byung-ryul, and Hankyung TV anchorwoman Doh Hyun-young. Trendy Cocktails at JW Marriott Seoul

Exchange Bar at JW Marriott Seoul is launching six signature cocktails in line with this year’s drinking trends, as well as four new non-alcoholic ones that bring out the fragrance of the aromatic ingredients. Each new signature cocktail features its own distinctive blend of bases and ingredients such as green tea, ginger and Tabasco sauce, hazelnut and green olives. The six new signature drinks are complemented by a lineup of four non-alcoholic cocktails that use inspiring, fragrant ingredients such as jasmine, cinnamon, ginger, green tea and shiso.
