Opening of Cafe 395 at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton is opening the doors of its new flagship restaurant Cafe 395 following a three-month-long renovation. Based on the “open kitchen” concept, Cafe 395 brings diners face to face with chefs who prepare dishes for the restaurant’s buffet selection on the spot. From the seafood corner to the grilled station, from Asian specialties to the Italian and French tables, Cafe 395 offers diners an international experience. The buffet, which opens from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., is priced at 87,000 won per adult and 52,000 per child under 12 years of age. For more information, call (02) 317-3062.


Summer Family Package at THE PLAZA Hotel Seoul 

THE PLAZA hotel Seoul is offering a summer family package from July 16 to Aug. 31 in collaboration with the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, which is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the popular entertainment franchise “Transformers.” The package includes one night in THE PLAZA’s Deluxe Family or Premier Suite, three tickets to the DDP’s Transformers exhibition, a variety of Transformers amenities, and breakfast at The Seven Square, THE PLAZA’s signature restaurant. Cooking Class with the Kids at The Ritz-Carlton 

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul will hold a cooking class for kids on Aug. 11. Under the guidance of the hotel’s executive pastry chef, Kang Gil-won, kids and their parents will make pastries and a variety of party foods. The class will feature Le Creuset’s new Kid’s Mixing Bowl Set, which is priced at 90,000 won. The Ritz Kid’s Cooking Class gives parents an opportunity to spend quality time with their children and gives children insight into the world of hoteliers and pastry chefs. Global Pool Party at W Seoul Walkerhill

W Seoul Walkerhill will host “Heat Wave,” a pool party, on Aug. 2 at River Park. The party will bring together DJs -- RL Grime, Flosstradamus and others -- as well as fans of hip-hop, trap and house music. Moreover, the party will feature waterproof makeup for swimmers, alcoholic drinks and new fashion items and vehicles. As part of the event, 150 items of OM cosmetics worth 140,000 won each will be given away to the first 14 customers who book a table. “Heat Wave” will commence at 9 p.m. and last until 2 a.m. Admission costs 50,000 won per person. The selection includes the sweet cherry and vanilla-flavored Le Coq Rouge, the red flower and raspberry-scented Le Poussin Rose, and the sweet and fresh fruit-flavored La Poule Blanche. Appetizers -- potato croquettes with mojo sauce, chicken satay and peanut sauce, and others -- can be ordered separately.
